A space where different brains are understood, valued and supported.
NeuroRahma was born from a simple belief:
Neurodivergent people should not have to change who they are in order to belong.
Too often, neurodivergence is understood only through the lens of difficulties, deficits and things that need to be “fixed”.
NeuroRahma offers a different perspective.
We believe in understanding the person behind the diagnosis or label — recognising their strengths, needs, identity, lived experience and environment.
Why NeuroRahma
Neurodiversity is part of human diversity.
Autism, ADHD, dyslexia and other forms of neurodivergence can shape the way a person thinks, learns, communicates, experiences emotions and interacts with the world.
But neurodivergent people are not all the same.
There is no single way to be autistic, have ADHD, experience dyslexia or be neurodivergent.
NeuroRahma aims to provide resources that reflect this diversity while helping individuals, families and communities develop greater understanding and acceptance.
Where Psychology Meets Rahmah
NeuroRahma brings together psychological knowledge, neurodiversity-affirming principles, lived experience and Islamic values.
The approach is rooted in the belief that compassion and understanding should be at the centre of how we support one another.
For Muslim neurodivergent individuals and families, this also means creating space for questions about identity, spirituality, belonging and what it means to understand neurodiversity within an Islamic worldview.
NeuroRahma does not view neurodivergence as something that diminishes a person’s worth.
Every person has dignity.
Every person has strengths.
Every person deserves to be treated with rahmah.

Our Vision

A world where children grow up understanding that their brains may work differently, and that different is not broken.
A world where families have access to compassionate information.
A world where professionals understand neurodiversity beyond deficit-based models.
And a world where neurodivergent Muslims can explore their identity and spirituality without feeling that they have to choose between who they are and their faith.
This is NeuroRahma.
A different way of seeing neurodiversity, with understanding, dignity and Rahmah.
